• MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — April 8, 2009 — WireLoad has today unveiled YippieMove ’09, an updated version of their popular email transfer tool YippieMove. If you have ever been in a situation where you wanted switch your email provider, you know that migrating (or transferring) all those emails from one account to another can be a real challenge. With YippieMove’s intuitive web interface, you no longer need to be a tech-savvy engineer to resolve the problem.

YippieMove ’09 comes with three major new updates: Anywhere to anywhere, Enhanced progress reports and Up to 2x faster transfers.

    Anywhere to Anywhere
The most revolutionary new feature in YippieMove ’09 is the ability to transfer emails between virtually any two email providers. Prior to the release, YippieMove was limited to transfer emails to Gmail and Google Apps. With this release, a world of new opportunities has opened. YippieMove comes pre-configured with more than 100 different email providers. If your provider is not listed, you can even enter your own details.

    Enhanced Progress Reports
The new release includes a completely rewritten status page. This allows you to see information such as the speed of which we transfer your emails, how many messages and folders we have completed etc. We are now able to provide you with this data in almost real time. To visualize this data, we use interactive graphs.

    Up to 2x Faster Transfers
The final update is under the hood of YippieMove. We’ve spent a lot of time optimizing the speed of YippieMove for this release. We’ve rewritten a large portion of our proprietary mover software that powers YippieMove in the back-end. According to our internal benchmarks, we’ve seen the new mover outperform the old version by up to 100%

The service is available today at http://www.YippieMove.com for $14.95. YippieMove also offers migration for groups or enterprises that want on-demand, hassle-free email migration.

  • It’s exciting times here at WireLoad. We’re currently in the works of developing a major new version of YippieMove. While we were doing this, we searched the Open Source community for an awesome data visualization tool. The best thing we found was Open Flash Chart. However, we were not completely happy with it, and put our engineers to work on improving it. The result is something we call Open Flash Chart – WireLoad Edition. True to the Open Source mentality, we’ve published the modified version in a new section on our site called Open Source.

  • MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — October 4, 2008 — WireLoad has today unveiled an updated version of their email migration service YippieMove. YippieMove will transfer email from any one of 90+ e-mail providers, or any account that supports IMAP, which allows the user to switch accounts or make a backup. The updated version now features more detailed status information about the transfers and 2-3x faster transfer rate.

If you have ever been in a situation where you needed to leave an email account behind, you know that migrating (or transferring) all those emails from one account to another can be a real challenge. YippieMove makes this a breeze. With YippieMove, you no longer need to be a tech-savvy engineer to figure out how to transfer your email.

Best of all, YippieMove has been designed to integrate seamlessly with Gmail and Google Apps. This means you can get hooked up with one of the leading email providers in minutes. YippieMove helps you migrate all your emails in three simple steps. First, choose one of the 90+ pre-configured account types (see http://yippiemove.com/about.html for a complete listing), or other, to enter the information manually (this can be any IMAP compatible server). Next, plug in your Gmail or Google Apps credentials. Finally select what folders to transfer.

Your emails will be transfered and organized into folders on the destination account as soon as possible. “We don?t think email migration could get any easier than this,” says Viktor Petersson, co-founder of WireLoad. “We really spent a great amount of time working on simplicity. The teach savvy users may be able to transfer their emails already, but we wanted anyone to be able to do this.”

The service is available today for $9.95. YippieMove also offers migration for groups or enterprises that want on-demand, hassle-free email migration. This service can be used to migrate emails between any two IMAP-compatible servers.

  • WireLoad is proud to introduce YippieMove: Email migration made easy. With YippieMove, email migration just got a bit less painful. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to leave an email account behind? If so, you’ve probably faced the decision of either losing all those emails, or forwarding each and every one of them by hand. Neither of those choices are very appealing. Because of that, we developed YippieMove.

YippieMove helps you migrate all your emails in three simple steps.

Step 1: Select the from-account. You can use either one of the pre-configured account types, or ‘other,’ where you have to fill out the server settings yourself (this can be any IMAP compatible server).

Step 2: Select the destination. At this point, we only support Gmail. However, more destinations will be added shortly. The reason why we decided to use Gmail initially was due to the generous storage limit as well as the widespread usage.

Step 3: Select folders to transfer. In this step you select the folders in the from-account that you wish to transfer. We try to make an educated guess about what folders you may want to transfer (excluding spam, junk etc.). The default setting should be sufficient for most users.

That’s it. Your transfer will be processed as soon as possible. We don’t think email migration could get any easier than that.
